By analyzing the profound significance of national defense education and practicing in college student military training ,this article aims to illustrate the relationship between higher education in national defense and college and university students,attempts to discover the effects of national defense education in developing 'ambitious,mortal,cultivated and disciplined' talents. It points out that an effective approach to national defense education lies in college student military training and courses. The article also presents how to apply national defense education to the daily life of students and consolidate the achievement of student military training.
