摘要
歧义是语言中普遍存在的现象。本文从歧义产生的三种类型谈起 ,着重讨论歧义作为一种修辞手法 ,如果使用得当 ,即运用语言各个平面上的同形或同音异义现象 ,就会在文学、广告文体及其它交际场合中起到讽刺、幽默等多种修辞作用 ,使听读者获得审美情感 。
Ambiguity is a pervasive feature of language.Its rhetoric effec t may never be ignored though undoubtedly it causes confusion in communication.Thi s article mainly summarizes the three types of ambiguity and then probes into th e aspects such as in literature and in advertisements where ambiguity can be use d as a valuable device.
