There are three views about transfer from the point of situated theories of learning. They are the views of the affordance-activity, the socially shared cognition, and the communities of practice respectively. These views emphasize the effects which situations have on transfer from different aspects. They suggest that schooling should focus on the roles that situations, especially social ones, play. 
