作者从事图书馆和图书馆教育工作五十年。本文抒发了对图书馆事业的历史情结 ,谈到了对图书馆工作的感悟、对图书馆学研究的追求、在图书馆事业大家庭中的温暖和辛酸 ,强调真善美的图书馆精神。
The article conveys the author's emotional attachment to the library profession to which he has devoted over fifty years of his life as a library science educator and by which he has been rewarded with enormous happiness and satisfaction. He reminisces about his inspirations found in library education, his pursuits of the study of library, and the ups and downs of his career. In the article, he also emphasizes the spirit of library profession.
