There have been endless arguments about literal translation,free translation and untranslatability in the field of translation.Only from a new perspective of sociolinguistics and intercultural communication,should translation studies be made.We can bring to light their relations,translation methodology,its essence and the social and cultural dimensions of translation that have so far been ignored,so that a scientific system of relatively satisfactory translation theory could be formed.
