An Analysis of Difference in Competitiveness ——On Ways to Raise Competitiveness in Western Regions

区域竞争力理论是关于区域经济发展与竞争力的重要理论,以国内外的区域竞争力理论观点为依据,通过对中国西部地区的区域竞争力的优势、现状、制约因素进行分析,可以看出西部地区与东部地区区域竞争的差异;要缩小和消除这种差异,必须采取相应的对策。

The theory of regional competitiveness is an important theory about regional economic development and competitiveness. Based on regional competitiveness theories, this article analyzes the advantages, the present situations and restrictive factors of regional competitiveness in western regions of China and shows the differences of regional competitiveness between western and eastern regions. To narrow and get rid of the gap, necessary steps should be taken.
