Debussy was a founder of French impressionist music. He has unfolded a brand-new music world for people with brand-new kinds and skills. In this paper the writer has analysed and summed up his characteristics of music art at different angles from his first masterpiece, Pan in the Afternoon , providing us with a reference for study and research of his works in times to come.
