The important thought of'Three Represents'has developed and carried forward Marxism,Leninism,Maozedong thought and Dengxiaoping theory.In the newstage,while sticking to the idea of peace and development,the CPC correctly follows the tendency of globalization,reaffirms the basic principle of historical materialismthat history is created by people,puts forward the goal of building socialist material civilization,political civilization and moral civilization as well,thus clearly points out the direction for the development of socialismwith Chinese characteristics.
