Essentials of Religious Ecology

今日世界 ,科学技术突飞猛进 ,环境问题却日益严重。无情的事实说明 ,环境危机与人类的精神危机紧密相连。人类需要从宗教的视野重新考察自己的世界观和伦理。因为 ,无论是有意识或无意识 ,宗教都主导着人类看待自然的基本态度。而且 ,宗教具有道德力量 ,可以促使人类尊重自然 ,为生态保护提供精神动力。当前世界各种宗教正在对环境危机做出积极反应 ,宗教与生态学之间的对话日益扩展。

Environmental problems are becoming worse although sciences and technologies are developing rapidly in the world.The severe facts show that the current environmental crisis is closely related to a moral and spirtual crisis.Therefore it is necessary for us to rethink our worldviews and ethics in light of religions that dominate our attitudes toward nature in both conscious and unconscious ways.Moreover,religions are moral forces and can provide us with spiritual forces to respect nature and protect ecology.Nowadays,religions are actively responding to the environmental crisis,and dialogues between religions and ecology are increasingly expanding.
