元代航海业述论

On Navigation in Yuan Dynasty

本文从海上扩张、海上贸易、海运漕粮三个方面,对元代航海业的基本情况进行了考察。可以看出,元代航海业的内容是丰富多彩的,其造船技术、航海能力、组织能力及船队规模与明代的郑和下西洋相比,并不逊色。

From the three aspects of overseas expansion, marine trade and transportation of grain by sea, this paper conducts an investigation on the basic situation of navigation in Yuan Dynasty, from which we can see that the navigation in Yuan Dynasty is diversified and its ship - building techniques, navigation capacity, organizing ability and scale of fleet are not inferior to those in the time of Zhenghe in Ming Dynasty, who is well - known for his long navigation.
