再谈大学英语教学改革

Review on the reform in teaching of college English

目前大学英语教学中存在的问题已经严重阻碍了大学英语学科的发展,大学英语教学必须改革。改革的主方向要以先进理论为基础,强调语言综合应用能力,改变传统教学模式,树立以人为本的观念,在英语教学"一条龙"上痛下功夫。

The problems faced in college English teaching have seriously hindered the development of college English teaching as a subject. In this sense, teaching of college English must be reformed. The major target of reform can be specified as highlighting comprehensive capability of language use on the basis of advanced theories, revising the traditional pattern of teaching, and establishing the concept of human being in focus. In addition, we must also concentrate on the teaching as a whole consisted of many links. 
