摘要
20世纪30年代,王季同提出的电网络分析新方法,促进了该时期中国国内学者关于电网络研究工作的开展,后来这一方法被发展为"王氏代数"。王季同是国际上最早一批洞察到电网络组合特性的学者之一,在中国早期电工学领域的学术建树值得称道。王季同的新方法虽然存在很大的局限性,但其学术影响是重要与广泛的,因为它不但为研究条件扩展后的电网络理论奠定了坚实基础,而且"王氏代数"对以拓扑方法来解决电网络问题,以及图论和哈密顿圈的研究起到了积极作用。
In the 1930s,the new method for the analysis of electric network created by Wang KiTung promoted the development of researches in this field among Chinese scholars during that period. Afterwards,'Wang Algebra'was formed based on Wang's method. Wang KiTung is one of the earliest researchers in the world who recognized the combinatorial characteristic of electric networks. He made commendable contribution to the research of electrical engineering in early modern China. Despite its many limitations,the academic influence of Wang's new method has been significant and widespread,for it put the theory of electric network on a more firm footing for an extended class of electric networks,and the formation of?'Wang Algebra' played an active role for studies of solving problems of electric network with topological method,graph theory,and Hamiltonian cycles.
