Random sampling is conducted of letters of introduction for trans hospital treatment and prescriptions for the sick and the injured in a military hospital. It found out that 56.68% of the sick and the injured had entered the hospital without prior medical examination and treatment by the medical unit they were assigned to. Reasons are analyzed and suggestions are provided that comprehensive guarantee competence of the basic medical units be enhanced so that both the hospital and the units can combine their efforts to serve the troops well.
