A Review on Nutrient Immunostimlants──Vitamins C and E for Aquaculture Fishes

病害的频繁发生 ,给鱼类养殖带来了严重的经济损失。免疫促进剂通过刺激鱼体的免疫系统而提高其抗病力。维生素是鱼类维持正常生命活动和生长所必须的微量营养素。大量研究结果表明 ,维生素C(Vc)和维生素E(Ve)是对鱼体免疫系统影响相对较大的微量营养素。

Diseases exert heavy economic losses in fish culture due to mortality, morbidity , poor product quality and costs associated with chemotherapy. The use of immunostimulants can induce protection against diseases, enhancing activities in fish immune system. vitamin C and E are necessary for cell function and are thus essential nutrient for growth and health of fish. Many experiments suggest that vitamin C and E are among the most important nutrients influencing the immune system. This paper reviews the investigations that have been conducted to evaluate the possibility of enhancing the specific and non specific immune response of the fish through dietary supplementation with vitamin C and E .
