皮金龟科Trogidae对分解动物尸体具有重要作用 ,全球已知 3属 3 2 0种。作者对其分类地位、分类研究历史和现状进行了概要总结 ;还就世界分类研究文献、分类系统和种类情况做了介绍 。
The Trogidae (Coleoptera: Scarabaeoidea) is a small family which includes the important species of aiding the decomposition of animal corpses. A total of 3 genera and about 320 species are known in the world.This paper reviews the taxonomic research of this family and provides a detailed summary of their systematics.The geographical distribution of known species is analysed, and a catalogue of Chinese genera and species is provided.
