“执政为民”是中国共产竞的一个共识。要实现“执政为民”,首先,必须坚持实事求是的思想路线,这是“执政为民”的思想基础;其次,必须解决生产力发展问题,这是“执政为民”的物质基础;再次,必须努力发展社会主义民主政治,这是“执政为民”的政治基础。

To carry out the Principle 'Government for the People', the Communist Party of China should, as their administrative style, firstly be practical and realistic, secondly raise the productive force as a means to better the life of his people, thirdly exercise a wider democracy to consolidate the foundation of socialism.
