The Development and Perfections of Domestication and Foreignization in the Chinese and Western Translation History

研究了文学翻译中,归化法和异化法从发展——演变——成熟——完善的整个过程,分析二者之间的异同及其产生的原因。根据文学翻译史的发展规律,翻译将会在二者的相辅相成作用下,以新的角度推动新时期的翻译向纵深发展。

This paper provides a general survey of Domestication and Foreignization in the Chinese and Western translation history from the angle of translation methods in the field of Literature. The differences and similarities will be analyzed .together with the reasoos which caused these differences and similarities. Foreshadowed by the author, the trend of Foreignization will be the developing direction of translation .
