数值模拟是微波器件研究和设计的重要手段。Particle-In-Cell(PIC)是比较常用的数值模拟方法,Tech-X公司开发的基于PIC算法的VSim软件提供功能丰富的微波和THz器件中的电磁粒子仿真能力,可以用于微波和THz器件的性能优化、可靠性分析,也可用于复杂介质电磁特性研究。VSim软件提供电磁场和等离子体的演化过程结果以及等离子体的相图等参数,可使研究者深入了解器件的物理机制。
The numerical simulation is a very effective mean to the research and design of microwave devices. At present, Particle-In-Cell(PIC) is an usual numerical simulation. Tech-X Corporation develops PIC software with the name as VSim, which can supply the simulation of the particles in microwave and THz devices. VSim can be used in performance optimization and reliability analysis of these devices, and research of the complex media's electromagnetic property. Using VSim, the evolution of electromagnetic fields and plasma, phase diagrams can be recorded, which can give people deep understanding of the physical mechanism in these devices.
