链式磁性光子晶体单向波导调控特性研究

摘要 磁性链式光子晶体中具有基于磁表面等离激元的单向边缘态传输模式,这种单向边缘态传输模式具有抗缺陷特性,引起了越来越多的关注。本文采用多重散射法从理论上研究了直线和Zig Zag链式结构磁性光子晶体的特征能带,讨论了偏置磁场对单向边缘态能带的调谐作用,并通过传输实验验证了这两种链式结构单向传输特性的调控特性,结果表明通过调整外加偏置磁场可以对链式磁性光子晶体的单向传输频率和带宽进行调控。 Magnetic photonic crystals with line types have unidirectional transmission edge modes originated Magnetic Surface Plasmon. These unidirectional waveguide immune to defects has been the focus of many researchers in recent years. In this paper we studied theoretically the characteristic band structures of the magnetic photonic crystals with straight line configuration and Zig-Zag line configuration respectively through multi scattering method, and we discussed the tunability of these unidirectional transmission waveguides through external biasing magnetic field. It's shown that both of the frequency and bandwidth could be controlled by magnetic field.
