Carry forward Our Cause into the Future:An Overview of the "Symposium on Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of Chinese Dance History Study"

以1956年"中国舞蹈史研究小组"成立为开端,中国舞蹈史研究现已走过60年的历程。60年来,中国舞蹈史学取得了巨大的成就:舞蹈史料的不断挖掘和积累为中国舞蹈史学建设奠定了重要的基础;中国舞蹈通史方面的研究推出了诸多重要的著作以及集大成的成果,标志着舞蹈史学学科建设的初步成熟;民族舞蹈史、断代舞蹈史、地域舞蹈史、专题舞蹈史以及跨学科舞蹈史研究的成果显现了中国舞蹈史研究视域和方法的探索和拓展。在中国艺术研究院舞蹈研究所召开的"纪念中国舞蹈史研究60年学术研讨会"上,来自中国各地的文化界的领导以及舞蹈领域的专家和学者们在对历史的回顾中深化对舞蹈史学建设价值和意义的认知;在总结实践经验教训中探讨视域的拓展和研究的正确途径;强调"史料先行""重证据",追求"信史",探寻舞蹈史研究的正确方法;倡导"甘坐冷板凳"的学者精神,纠正浮躁、抄袭、剽窃之风;并表示只要抱有坚定的信念,知难而进,就一定能够继往开来,创造中国舞蹈史学新的辉煌。

It had been 60 years since the establishment of the 'research team of Chinese dance history' in 1956, which marked the commencement of the Chinese dance history study. The past 60 years had witnessed great achievements in the study of Chinese dance history. By persistently exploring and accumulating dance history materials, the scholars had laid the essential foundation for the construction of Chinese dance history. A great many important publications and research achievements of the comprehensive history of Chinese dance had been introduced to the public,representing the discipline construction of Chinese dance history had entered an initial stage of maturity. Research findings of ethic dance history, dynastic dance history,regional dance history, dance history on special topics, and cross-disciplinary dance history epitomized the exploration and development of the scope and methodology of Chinese dance history study. Through the 'Symposium on Commemorating the 60 th Anniversary of Chinese Dance History Study,' organized by the Research Institute of Dance of the Chinese National Academy of Arts, the leaders in cultural field across the country as well as the experts and scholars in dance field deepened cognition regarding the value and significance of the construction of Chinese dance history. They discussed the expansion of the research scope and the right approaches to the research subjects based on practice and experience;they emphasized on 'the priority of collecting historical material' and the 'importance of evidence,' pursuing the 'reliable history,' and seeking for the appropriate research methods for Chinese dance history. They promoted the scholar spirit of 'being willing to be a bench warmer,' proposed censure for impetuous academic style and plagiarism, and reached an agreement that 'as long as we have a firm belief, advancing in spite of challenges, we will be able to carry forward our course and create a brilliant future for the study of Chinese dance history.'
