'国际舞蹈日'由国际戏剧协会舞蹈委员会于1982年创立,其目的在于庆祝舞蹈之美,凸显舞蹈作为一种艺术形式的包容性、在全世界范围内加深对话、构建尊重以及两性之间理解互信的独特作用。在当今这样一个充满社会变革及不稳定的时代,舞蹈的这些作用有着前所未有的重要性。这便是此次在上海举办的2017国际舞蹈日庆典系列活动的重要之处。此次活动打破常规,呈现了一个持续三天,包含演出、讲座和工作坊的系列节庆。

The International Dance Day was created by the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute in 1982,to celebrate the beauty of dance and its universality as an art form and to highlight dance’s unique ability to deepen dialogue。
