Male infertility with calcified seminiferous tubules of testes:report of seven cases

目的:本文报道7例睾丸精细小管钙化男性不育症患者,并结合文献对其病理、声像图特征及常见并发症进行探讨。结果:7例病人睾丸内发现分布均匀、弥漫性细小的高回声灶。讨论:睾丸精细管在精子的生成过程中起着十分重要的作用,该处发生病变钙化必然影响生孕能力。高频探头对本病诊断起到了至关重要的作用,并有利于肿瘤和静脉曲张等并发症的观察。

Objective:To report 7 cases of male infertility with calcified seminiferous tubules,and discuss its pathology,imaging features,and common complications.Results:Evenly distributed,diffuse,fine,hyperechoic foci were found in thetestes of the 7 patients.Discussion:As the seminiferous tubules of testis play a crucial role in spermatogenesis,calcificationof the said tubules certainly affects male fertility.High frequency ultrasound is imperative in diagnosis of this affection,and isalso conductive to observing the complications such as neoplasm and varicose vein.
