摘要
“城市化”是一个舶来品 ,“城镇化”一词更符合中国国情。城镇化是一个发展中的概念。从实质上看 ,城镇化就是农村人口不断向城镇转移 ,第二、三产业不断向城镇聚集 ,从而使城镇数量增加 ,城镇规模扩大的一种历史过程。作为一种社会历史现象 ,城镇化既是物质文明进步的体现 ,也是精神文明前进的动力。从不同的角度出发 ,城镇化被划分为不同的类型。中国城镇化的特征可以从发展进程、发展速度、发展水平、发展规律、发展规模、发展趋势等多个方面进行归纳分析。
The concept of urbanization is a developing one.Essentially,urbanization refers to a historical proˉcess,in which the rural population shifts continuously to urban areas and the secondary manufacturing and tertiary industries are gathered in the urban areas so that the number of towns and cities increases and the scale is enlarged.As a historical social phenomenon,urbanization not only embodies the advance of material civilization but also the motive force of spiritual civilization.Urbanization is classified into various types from different perspectives.The characteristics of Chinese urbanization can be summed up according to such factors as the process,speed,level,law,scale and tendency of development.
