关于护理专业学生对老年护理择业动机现状的调查

Investigation of nursing students’ motivation for care in the aged

为了准确把握医学院校护理专业学生对老年护理的择业动机,树立其正确的老年护理择业观,增强其老年护理的从业意愿,采用一般资料调查问卷及护生老年护理择业动机问卷,对长春市三所医学院校护理专业150名应届毕业生进行了调查研究。结果显示:护理专业学生择业动机总分平均分为65.46±5.11;不同的性别、家庭所在地、民族、第一志愿以及是否为独生子女的择业动机总分差异不明显,无统计学意义;不同学历层次、家里是否有老人、是否与老年人同住、是否学过'老年护理'课程、是否认可老年护理发展前景的择业动机总分差异明显,具有统计学意义。虽然护理专业学生对老年护理的认识和认可在不断增强,对其择业意愿也逐步上升,但是依然受传统择业观念束缚,增幅迟缓。必须在护理专业学生学校教育阶段,引导学生正确认识老年护理在社会中的急需性、重要性,帮助他们更新观念,树立正确的老年护理择业观。

In order to accurately grasp the career motivation of nursing students in medical colleges for caring the elderly,the general method of questionnaire,'Motivation for Care for the Elderly',is used to establish their correct outlook on career care,and to enhance their willingness to work in the elderly.The participants are a total of 150 nursing graduates from three medical colleges and universities in Changchun.The results showed that the average score of career motivation of nursing students was 65.46±5.11.There was no significant difference in the total score of career motivation among different gender,family location,nationality,first choice and whether they were only children or not,so it needn’t to be reference data.While,a series of problems whether elderly people are in the family,whether they live with the elderly,whether they had studied the course of'Geriatric nursing'or whether they recognized the prospect of the development of aged care,have statistical significance.Although nursing students’awareness and recognition of aged care is increasing,and their willingness to choose their careers has also gradually increased,the growth rate is sluggish due to the traditional concept of career choice.At the school education stage of nursing students,it is necessary to guide students to correctly understand the urgent needs and importance of elderly nursing in society.Thus it can help them renew their concepts and establish a correct outlook on career care.
