摘要
本文介绍了乔姆斯基的语言学成就和转换生成语法发展历程及其特点,分析了转换生成语法对解决英语歧义问题的影响。
This paper introduces Chomsky’s big contribution to linguistics and the brief history and characteristics of TG Grammar proposed by Noam Chomsky. The tree diagram analysis is very helpful to make syntactic ambiguity obvious, so that we can correctly comprehend the vocabulary, syntax and discourse in the teaching and learning of foreign languages.
