摘要
《格列佛游记》卷三因其散乱的线索及繁复的指涉被视为'斯学'研究的重点文本。近年,随着'文学-科技'交叉视角的复兴,'卷三'及其科技主题亦再度被纳入批评视域。但学界某些成果在扩宽斯威夫特研究面向的同时,忽略了乔纳森·斯威夫特'反科学话语'背后复杂的政治动机及牵缠其间的私人恩怨。通过对文本指涉符号的解码,我们不难发现:隐伏反科学话语之后的'伍德币事件'和爱尔兰民族独立诉求或是'卷三'更为重要的文本结构动机;而所谓的'科技厌恶者'斯威夫特真正痛恶的是科技的滥用及其与暴政结合的非道德后果。
The third chapter of Gulliver’s Travels has always been regarded as an important text.Recently,with the involvement of interdisciplinary perspective,scientific subject of the third chapter has been recalled to the research territory.And domestic experts have made some progress.Still,those domestic researches tend to come into grand conclusions such as controversies between ideologies thus,to some degree,have ignored the complicated political motivations and personal disputes behind the so-called anti-scientism narratives.Probably,the digressive third chapter was a byproduct of particular political issues.
