习近平总书记在全国高校思想政治工作会议上提出的'因事而化、因时而进、因势而新',既是对高校思想政治工作规律的高度凝练,也是对高校思想政治工作方法论的深刻总结。具体而言,'因事而化'就是要将思想政治工作贯穿到高校教学、科研、管理、服务的全过程;'因时而进'就是要紧贴时代发展脉搏,瞄准时代特点不断创新思想政治工作;'因势而新'要求高校根据历史发展的大趋势和社会发展的新形势不断更新工作理念。
