Strategic Transformation and Implicit Discipline: The Academic Map of Environmental Discourse Research

环境话语是以多模态环境符号进行的意义生产再生产,对社会和环境事件建构与被建构的循环实践,作为环境传播核心研究议题,在风险社会语境下对公众风险认知和生态文明建设有重要实践价值。通过文献荟萃法梳理可描绘中国环境话语研究学术版图:从史论视角、实践视角、抗争视角、语境视角、语用视角、功能视角六个视角,研究环境话语的文本表征、意义争夺和社会建构,问题焦点集聚于策略改造和隐性规训;批判话语分析是环境话语研究基本理念,意图突破个体和文本的禁锢,将社会和意识形态纳入分析理路,重在揭示环境话语隐含的政治、霸权和商业等,却懈于调停社会风险和解决环境问题;建议从环境话语的实施本体、时空场域、发展进程三层次和表征、意义、建构、实践四阶段推进环境话语研究。

Environmental discourse is the recycling practice of meaning production and reproduction with multimodal environmental symbols,which constructs and is constructed by social and environmental events.As the core research topic of environmental communication,it has important practical value for public risk awareness and ecological civilization construction in the context of risky society.Through literature meta-analysis,the academic map of environmental discourse research in China can be described:from the perspectives of historical theory,practice,resistance,context,pragmatics and function,this paper deals with the text representation,meaning competition and social construction of environmental discourse,with the focus on strategic transformation and implicit discipline.Critical discourse analysis is the basic idea of environmental discourse research.It aims to break the shackles of individuals and texts,and bring society and ideology into analysis.It focuses on revealing the implied politics,hegemony and business of environmental discourse,but fails to mediate social risks and solve environmental problems.It is suggested the study of environmental discourse be developed from three levels:the noumenon of the implementation of environmental discourse,the space-time field and the development process,through four stages:representation,meaning,construction,and practice.
