摘要
The United Nations Creative Economy Report 2013.Widening Local Development Pathways was commissioned by UNESCO and the United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) in order to inform international debate on the post-2015 UN development agenda and the role of culture in sustainable development. This presentation explores the Report’s key messages and the ways in which it seeks to reframe the ’ global script’ of the ’ creative economy’,notably by taking a broader view based upon both the human development and the cultural economy perspectives. It does so first by revealing the potential and specificity of the cultural economy at the local level in developing countries.Second,by arguing that unlocking this potential also means promoting the overall creativity of societies, affirming the distinctive identity of the places where it flourishes and clusters, improving the quality of life there, enhancing local image and prestige and strengthening the resources for the imagining of diverse futures.
