摘要
语言与文化密不可分,学习语言必须学习文化。因此,在外语教学活动中,既要进行语言知识的教学,也要进行文化知识的教学。将英语教学与文化融入相结合,对提高英语教学具有重要意义。本文的第一部分介绍了英语教学阶段为什么要涉及跨文化教学。本文在第二部分从词汇、习惯用语、日常交际方面介绍了中西文化存在的差异。本文的第三部分着重探讨了怎样把跨文化教育融入到英语教学中。
To understand culture is a must for language learners as language and culture are inseparable. In consideration of the relation, both knowledge of language and the culture shall be given due attention in foreign language teaching. The integration of cultural awareness into the class is of crucial importance in improving the efficiency of English teaching. The Paper has in its first part detailed why intercultural awareness enhancement in English teaching is important, and in the second part has demonstrated the cultural differences between China and the West and in the third part that how intercultural awareness can be integrated into English teaching.
