乡约是指旧时在宗族乡里订立的共同遵守的规约,村民自愿遵守,自发执行。在文学作品《白鹿原》中,白鹿村的乡约正是通过广为宣传的方式使民众完全知晓,教民以礼义,以正世风,从而具有预测、指引和评价的功效。分析小说《白鹿原》可以使我们的社区管理和德育建设得到一些启示,并将此付诸实践。

Township treaty was a series of conventions which were commonly stipulated by the clan members, and voluntarily followed and carried out by villagers. In the novel White Deer Plain, the township treaty made itself completely known to the villages through wide publicity and taught them propriety and righteousness to correct public morals, hence it has functions of prediction, guidance and evaluation. Analysis on this novel can give us enlightenment in community management and moral construction and put it into practice.
