A Comparative Study of Characteristics of Natural Down Fibers and Other Natural Protein Fibers

对羊毛、蚕丝、羽绒的理化性能进行比较 ,结果表明羽绒除了有与羊毛一样的共性外 ,还具有质轻、耐磨、防水性好、保暖性强等特点 。

Based on a comparative analysis of the structures and properties of natural down and other natural protein fibers such as wool and silk,the paper makes a comprehensive study of the physical and chemical features of these natural protein fibers.The results show that the natural down,in addition to its similar features to those of wool,has some unique features such as lightness,durability,water repellency and warmness,which makes natural down a suitable raw material the garment industry.
