摘要
The "山"-shaped design bronze mirror prevailed in the pre-Qin period and constituted the main type of bronze mirror in the Chu State. Its varieties can be dated by analyzing their examples unearthed in great numbers from Chu tombs in Hunan Changsha and its vicinity and by referring to archaeological data from other localities. As known so far, the use of such mirrors can be traced to the early Warring States period and lasted to the time from the late Warring States period to the early Han Dynasty. They underwent the beginning, developing, flourishing and declining stages.
