Beijing University of Chinese Medicine(BUCM)was founded in 1956,and is one of the earliest established traditional Chinese medical institutions for higher educat:ion in the People’s Republic of China.Today,BUCM has 10 schools with 2,462 staff and 27,833 students,3 affiliated hospitals with 1960 medical staff and equipped with 2200 beds average daily out-patient capacity is over7000 each.Scientific research funding is over$16.5
