摘要
从理论上研究了密立根油滴实验仪水平调节的原因及重要性.仅有电极板倾斜或油滴仪整体倾斜时,油滴每次上升都有横向移动,5次上升横向漂移大于油滴仪的测量窗口宽度,实验无法完成.因此在密立根油滴实验中,仪器水平调节不但决定测量结果误差,而且决定实验能否完成.
Some theoretical study on the importance and necessity of level adjustment operation in Millikan oil‐drop experiment were carried out .The leaning of the plate electrode or the whole instru‐ment would cause lateral movement every time when the oil‐drop rose .The oil‐drop would run out of the window after five times of lateral movement ,leading to a failure of the experiment .The level ad‐justment of the instrument not only determined the measurement precision , but also determined w hether the experiment could be completed or not .
