摘要
理论物理学家一般较年轻就能做出重要贡献,而实验物理学家做出重要贡献的年龄总体偏大.产生这一差异的原因是:一方面20~30岁是思维最为活跃期,是天赋出众的年轻理论物理学家做出重大理论发现的最好时机;另一方面,足以做出重要发现的实验经验与能力则是与时俱增的,需要较长时间的历练.与经验丰富的前辈合作或接受他们的指导,是促进年轻实验物理学家更早做出重要贡献的有效途径之一.聚焦重要前沿成果并善于发现新的研究点,也是较快做出重要实验发现的方式之一.
Theoretical physicists could do great research work in their early ages ,but experimen‐tal physicists often get excellent research results in older ages .On one side ,20 -30 is the best time for gifted young theoretical physicists to present important discovery ,w hen their minds are most ac‐tive .But on the other side ,experimental physicists need long time to improve their experimental ex‐perience and ability which are needed for great experimental works .A young experimental physicist co‐work with an experienced senior ,is a right road to get success much earlier .Paying attention to important new discovery and being good at finding new research issue ,is also a good style to get valu‐able result quickly .
