传统电路域短消息业务由SMSC(短消息服务中心)提供,业务流程均承载在七号信令网。随着IMS网络的商用,在IP网络下为VoLTE用户继续提供短消息业务,成为运营商在网络演进过程中必须支持的功能。就IP短信网关的功能、业务流程、系统架构、接口方案等问题进行阐述,并提出了现网引入IP短信网关的组网方案。
