尽管凝聚态物理、核物理和高能物理学的研究对象各不相同,它们的基本概念都是相通的。本文的目的,是从统一的观点来说明物理学的这些分支中的根本问题。希望这不仅有助于从一致的角度来理解各个领域,并且说明物理思想的沟通和借鉴,对于物理学的发展是重要的。
Although the systems studied in condensed matter physics, nuclear physics and high energy physics are quite different, many of the underlying basic concepts have much in common. The aim of this review is to describe some of these basic concepts and to show how they apply in different branches of physics. It is hoped that such a presentation will not only be helpful in understanding diverse fields in a consistant way, but also will illustrate how exchanges and borrowing of ideas between physicists working in different areas are fruitful for the development of physical science. The article is a revised and expanded version of one of the same title that appeared in Annual Reviews of Material Science,Vol. 10, pp. 1-18, 1980.
