鲤鱼寄生粘孢子虫一新种

A NEW MYXOSPORIDIAN FROM THE COMMON CARP,CYPRINUS CARPIO IN LIAONING PROVINCE

作者在进行辽宁地区池养鱼类鱼病调查时,发现单极虫属Thelohanellus Kudo,1933一新种,命名为清河单极虫,新种Thelohanellus qinghoensis sp.nov.

The present paper deals with a new species of the genus Thelohanellus found onthe body surface of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) reared in a concrete pond inQinghe Reservoir, Liaoning Province, China. Type specimens are deposited in Resea-rch Institute for Freshwater Fisheries of Liaoning Province.Thelohanellus qinghoensis sp. nov. (Fig. 1)Host: Cyprinus carpioLocation: Body surfaceLocality: Qinghe District, Tieling City, Liaoning Province (43°55′N, 124°10′E)Date: June 1990Cyst: Circular, greyish white to yellowish in colour. Dimension of preserved (in5% formalin) cyst: 1-2 millimeters in diameter.Spore: Oval in thecal view, anterior end slightly narrowed and posterior edgebroadly rounded. Fusiform in sutural view; nearly rounded in end view. The suturalridge is broad and straight. Distribution of sporoplasm is even and contains a largeand rounded iodinophilous vacuole (3.1-5.1 micron in diameter) and two circularnuclei. Dimension of preserved (in 5% formalin) specimens: spore length 17.6 (15.8-19.8) micron, width 10.2 (8.6-11.2)micron, thicken 8.8(8.1-9.7) micron; polar capsulelength 6.4(5.6-7.1) micron, width 5.2 (4.8-5.6) micron.This new species is similar to Thelohanelles nikolskii Achmerov, 1955 and T.callisporis Ha KY, 1971, but differs from the latter in size and shape of spore and polar capsule.
