“三个代表”的思想和“三个有利于”理论作为我党的指导思想 ,在本质上是一脉相承的。“三个代表”思想是以江泽民为核心党的第三代领导集体 ,在新的时期对邓小平“三个有利于”的理论创新。“三个代表”思想具有鲜明的时代特色 ,是运用“三个有利于”理论的重要成果 ;“始终代表中国先进生产力的发展要求” ,是对邓小平关于“生产力标准”和“科学技术是第一生产力”理论的发展 ;“始终代表中国先进文化的发展方向”丰富和发展了邓小平关于综合国力、物质文明和精神文明协调发展的思想 ;“代表中国最广大人民群众的根本利益”

The 'Three Represents' theory and the 'Three Benefits' are both our Party's guidelines, which share the same fundamental disciplines in essence. The 'Three Represents' theory is a theoretical innovation of Deng Xiaoping' theory by the third generation of the collective leadership of the Party with Jiang Zemin as a core. The 'Three Represents' theory has outstanding features of the present era.'The Party must always represent the requirements of the development of China's advanced productive forces' ,which has developed Deng Xiaoping's theory on 'productive forces ' and 'science and technology as the first productive forces',etc.
