河南邓州太子岗遗址复查记

河南省邓州市太子岗遗址位于邓州市西北部,为穰东镇辖地(图一)。这里地处南阳盆地北部白河流域平原区,地表径流丰富,现距遗址最近的河流为西边5里处的赵河(流入白河支流湍河),但据说遗址附近还有古河道。遗址具体的位置在穰东镇镇南、郑庄以北、关庄以西的一片地方,以GPS定位,大致在东经112.285°~112.292°,北纬32.840°~32.846°的范围内。遗址发现于1957年,后经邓州市和南阳地区文物保护单位调查确认为新石器时代遗址,有仰韶文化、屈家岭文化和龙山文化时期遗存.

The Taizigang太子岗site in Dengzhou邓州,Henan河南is the largest Yangshao site in the Nanyang南阳Basin.With the help of GPS,we drew a map of the site after a field survey.The survey also found out the exact boundary of the site and the condition of features.The upper layer of the site had been seriously destroyed and only some interrupted Qujialing屈家岭assemblage is left.However,the Yangshao assemblage in the lower layers is well persevered.The remains of late Yangshao architectures,including several long multi-room houses,distributes in an area of nearly 10 ha.Since most of them were burnt when abandonment happened,the houses are still in good condition and easy to be recognized.
