■簋年代及相关问题

《中国历史文物》2006年第3期发表了西周青铜器■簋的照片和铭文拓片。这件铜器非常重要,第一是因为其造型别致,前所未见;第二是因为器主'■'就是西周中期铜器铭文中经常出现的一代'井伯',通过这个人物能把很多重要铭文联系起来。同期还刊发了王冠英、李学勤、夏含夷、张永山几位先生的论文,对■簋的器形、纹饰和铭文做了研究,并重点讨论了该器的年代问题[1]。几位先生一致认为,■簋的年代应为穆王二十四年。对于这个问题,我们有一些不同看法,在此提出以求教于方家。

Lu gui(彔见)簋is one of the important Western Zhou bronze vessels discovered in recent years.Most of the scholars date the vessel to the 24 year of the King Mu穆王.This paper,based on a comprehensive research on the type,surface decoration and inscribed characters of the vessel,argues that it should be dated to the 24thyear of the King Gong恭王.Hence the King Gong might have been on his throne for at least 24 years and some related bronze vessels need to be re-dated.From an interpretation on the inscriptions on Lu gui,the paper suggests that Lu might be the Jing Bo井伯in other bronze inscriptions of the King Gong and King Yi period.He might just be the Zhou Shi Lu周师彔in later bronze inscriptions.This is helpful for the establishment of a genealogy for the powerful Jing family.
