韩国禁止使用一次性塑料袋，超过一万家超市受到影响

South Korea bans disposable plastic bags,affecting over 10,000 supermarkets.

韩国环境部宣布禁止全国大型超市和零售商使用一次性塑料袋,以保护自然资源并减少可回收废物的浪费。这一禁令作为现行法律修正法案的一部分于1月1日生效。根据禁令内容,韩国2000家大型连锁超市及11000家销售面积在165平方米以上的超市被禁止提供免费的塑料袋,而要向顾客提供布料购物袋或纸袋。

South Korea’s Ministry of Environment enforced a ban on disposable plastic bags in a bid to conserve natural resources and reduce the waste of recyclable garbage.The ban went into effect as part of an amendment to an existing law on January 1.According to it,the country’s 2,000 big supermarket chains and 11,000 supermarkets,with sales floor space greater than 165m2,will be prohibited from giving out plastic bags for free,and required to offer cloth or paper bags.
