As of March 29,Anhui has completed 758,900 mu(about 50,593 ha)of artificial afforestation,realizing 126.48%of the 2019 annual plan of 600,000 mu(40,000 ha),with all cities having completed their afforestation plan tasks for 2019 issued by the provincial government.??Last year,Anhui planned ahead the deployment of the winter and spring afforestation work and incorporated the“increase of green”into the reform of the forest chief system.??Taking Anqing as an example,the city expands forestry investment and financing channels,guides social forces to invest in“three major projects”as ecological protection,ecological restoration and ecological enrichment,and implements 201 key ecological projects..It has recovered the greening of 4,102 mu(about 273 ha)of tidal flats and abandoned wharfs along the Yangtze River shoreline.
