幼蚌实行强化培育,植珠工艺改为“三小”,调整嫁接季节和适时调节育珠蚌的吊养深度,可使优质珍珠培育周期缩短为二夏一冬,优质珍珠比率由原来的8％上升到20％以上。

Young clams were given strenthened culture in the research. Small mantle pieces, small knives and small clams were used in transplantion techniques. By means of adjusting transplantation season and the depth of hanging culture, the culture period could be shortened to less than two years, the proportion of high-quality pearls were raisened from 8% to more than 20%.
