摘要
形象思维对科技术语的汉译具有十分重要的作用。一方面 ,科技术语构词有形象化趋势 ,同时 ,构词中语义模糊性成分的客观存在 ,也决定只有充分调动形象思维才能更准确地将科技术语译出。科技术语形象译法的主要途径有 :仿真 ,意象切换 ,引申 ,语义综合和增词。
Image thinking is of great importance to the translation of technical terminology as imagination is extensively employed in the coinage of technical terminology,on the other hand,semantic fuzziness in some technical terminologies also urges for the application of image thinking.We usually achieve imagination through simulation,image transformation,extending of word meaning,semantic synthesis and amplification.
