Functional features and applications of CeO3 nanoparticles in high tech sectors are reviewed based on recent study reports in this area. Methods of synthesis and features of CeO2 nanoparticles are summarized,and future directions of research on CeO2 are predicted,with a view to providing useful clues to workers who are lucubrating new CeO2 functional materials.
