A Comparative Study on English Translations Of LI Qingzhao's Shengshengman

从意境、音韵和形式等角度对李清照的《声声慢》一词较具代表性的四种英译文进行比较研究,中诗(词)英译工作者或许能从中得到一些启示。

Shengshengman is a famous ci poem of LI Qingzhao, an outstanding poetess of Song Dynasty. It vividly depicts her sad emotions in autumn by unique literary approaches. This paper makes a comparative study on four typical English translations of the poem, from which translators of classic Chinese verse may get some inspiration.
