摘要
本文是一篇关于湍流直接数值模拟的综述报告。首先简要介绍了直接数值模拟的一些概念、优缺点与数值方法,着重叙述了直接数值模拟在近几年内所取得的巨大成就,说明直接数值模拟方法正日益成为湍流基础研究的一项基本手段。最后主要根据对今后十年内计算机能力发展的预测,估计了直接数值模拟的发展前景。
This is a comprehensive survey of direct numerical simulation (DNS) of turbulence. A brief introduction about some concepts,merits and demerits and numerical methods of DNS is given. Emphasis is put on the tremendous achievements of DNS reached in the recents years. It shows that DNS is becoming a basic tool of fundamental research of turbulence. Finally, a perspectives of DNS is estimated mainly based on the prediction of development of capability of computer in the future 10 years.
