黑衣壮是壮族的一个支系,既有整个壮族的共性,也有自己的支系个性,尤其在宗教信仰上,有自己独特的完整的信仰体系。在漫长的历史演进过程中,黑衣壮的宗教包括原始巫教、原生型麽教和创生型道教三个层次,在纵向上三者之间有一定的继承和发展关系,在横向上彼此又相互独立共存,形成一个整体结构,较为少见。
